1. Introduction

Welcome to PnL AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our quantitative AI trading journal services, we collect the following:

Account Information: Email address and secure authentication credentials (managed directly and encrypted via Supabase Auth).
User Content: Trade parameters, lot sizes, entry/exit prices, P&L data, strategy notes, and screenshots of trading history or charts uploaded by you.
Automatically Collected Data: Basic device diagnostics, crash logs, and operating system versions required for app stability (not linked to your personal identity).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

Create and securely manage your account across multiple devices.
Extract quantitative parameters from your uploaded screenshots using our AI Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine.
Calculate mathematical trading analytics (e.g., Win Rate, Profit Factor, Expectancy, and Max Drawdown).
Provide customer support and maintain system reliability.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing & AI Processing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers or data brokers. We share data only with essential, industry-vetted infrastructure providers:

Supabase: Our secure backend database and authentication provider. All trade data is protected using strict Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring only your authenticated user ID can access your trading records.
OpenAI (Vision OCR Engine): We use OpenAI's API to process your trading screenshots.

Strict AI Privacy Guarantee: Data sent to OpenAI via our API is securely processed for OCR extraction and immediately discarded. According to OpenAI's enterprise API policies, your screenshots and financial data are never stored or used to train OpenAI's models.

RevenueCat & App Stores: For Premium and Pro AI subscriptions, entitlement processing is securely handled via RevenueCat and native Apple App Store / Google Play billing APIs. We never receive or store raw credit card details.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information only as long as you have an active account. You have the absolute right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated trade data at any time directly within the App (via Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing us at support@shopfrontdigital.com. Upon request, all your records and screenshots will be permanently wiped from our databases.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, export (portability), restrict, and request the immediate erasure of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@shopfrontdigital.com.

By downloading, accessing, or using the PnL AI application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Important Legal & Financial Disclaimer

NO FINANCIAL ADVICE: The PnL AI App is strictly an educational, mathematical, and analytical tool designed for journaling and tracking of your own personal trading history. We are not financial advisors, brokers, or a registered investment firm.

The analytics, win rates, expectancy figures, and equity curves provided by the App do not constitute investment advice, trading recommendations, or a guarantee of future financial performance.

Risk Warning: Trading in financial markets (Forex, Cryptocurrencies, Equities, CFDs) involves a substantial degree of financial risk. You alone are strictly and exclusively responsible for your trading decisions and any financial losses you may incur.

3. User Responsibilities & Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and passcode lock settings.
You agree to only upload screenshots and data that belong exclusively to you or for which you have legal authorization.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that attempt to reverse-engineer our AI parameters, abuse our API limits, or violate applicable laws.

4. Service Availability & AI Accuracy

While we strive for 99.9% uptime and high-precision extraction, the App relies on third-party cloud and AI APIs (OpenAI and Supabase).

We do not guarantee that the AI Vision engine will extract data with 100% accuracy under every image condition. You are responsible for verifying your trade parameters before logging them into your journal. We are not liable for any discrepancies in your trading metrics caused by unverified or incorrectly logged entries.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

PnL AI operates under a 3-tier pricing model: Basic (Free), Premium (£2.49/mo or £19.99 Lifetime), and Pro AI (£12.99/mo).

All subscription payments and lifetime upgrades are processed securely via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (via RevenueCat). Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds and cancellations are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their platform policies.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
